How to use the digital EC meter

Before measuring, rinse the probe with clean water. Place the sensor in the water or nutrient solution according to the device instructions and wait for the reading to stabilise. If you monitor the same solution regularly, record the results so changes are easier to notice and you can judge when the solution needs adjustment. Rinse the probe again after measuring and store the device as instructed.

Calibrating the digital EC meter

For accurate results, the device must be calibrated regularly. Calibration is especially important before first use and thereafter according to the frequency of use and the device instructions. For the pH function, use pH calibration powders. To calibrate the EC function, use a separate EC calibration solution.
