Terra Aquatica pH+ 500 ml is a concentrated pH increaseris a concentrated pH increaser that raises the pH of irrigation water and nutrient solutions and helps keep the plant-growing environment within a suitable range. The product is suitable for use in hydroponics, coco coir and soil and is especially useful with soft or reverse-osmosis (RO) water (RO filtration removes almost all minerals, salts, chlorine and other impurities from tap water, producing nearly pure water with an EC close to zero).
In addition to adjusting pH, T.A. pH+ contains plant-available silicate, which helps supplement silicon that is often deficient in hydroponic growing systems.

The importance of pH in plant growing
Nutrient uptake depends heavily on the pH of the growing environment. Terra Aquatica recommends a generally safe pH range of approximately 5.5–6.5, with the lower end of the range generally preferred for hydroponic solutions.
pH+ allows the pH of an overly acidic nutrient solution to be raised gradually, creating a more suitable growing environment for plants.
Particularly suitable for soft and RO water
High pH is more common with hard water, but very soft or reverse-osmosis water can create the opposite problem: the nutrient-solution pH may be too low.

How to use
Add T.A. pH+ to irrigation water or a prepared nutrient solution in small amounts.
- Add a small amount of pH+ solution.
- Mix the nutrient solution thoroughly.
- Measure the pH again.
- Repeat as necessary until the desired pH is reached.
Because pH+ is highly concentrated, adding a large amount at once is not recommended. The required dose depends on the water’s initial pH and mineral content and on the nutrient solution being used.
